There are 6 races this season running from October to March. For athletes 8 years and older on the day this is a good starting competition for cross country. Athletes who are 11 on the day or 12 on 31 August compete as under 13. All athletes except under 11s must wear a club vest. Under 11s compete in a development race and do not need club vests. Newquay Road Runners have had some success over the past 7 seasons in the ladies and men’s competitions since we started competing under our own right.

The Cross Country series is a great team series and a good way to keep you motivates and running throughout the winter months. This year the NRR Committee has agreed to pay all athlete entry to compete. Any members can therefore turn up and run in as many of the series as you’d like.
