ATHLETE OF THE MONTH SEP 2026

Stella Gardener

Stella has had a great year so far returning to racing while also focusing on the importance of strength and conditioning.

In September she return to Truro half marathron after many years and posted a fantastic performance and also in August had a brilliant run at magnificent 7 claiming a age cat prize in what is a tough race and it was during one of the many heatwaves.

What stood out for Stella in September in that even though she had returned to another race, treggy 7, she sacrificed her own race to stop and help a fellow runner.

she check they where ok, she then arranged for someone to stay with them so she could run to the next marshal for help. Great thinking.

She finished the race and still claimed a team prize.

Thank you Stella for looking out for others.

Keep up the great work.
